Bonfire night. Local pub.
Advantages – walkable from home, kids’ friends there, not too busy, beer and warmth indoors
Disadvantages – Large tree situated in front of firework display, plastic wine glasses
Age appears to have caught up with me – I now officially care more about keeping warm than how I look.
