This post is part of a weekly series of ‘link-up’ Posts which reflect on life’s journey, old memories and family stories (see below for more info).
Those of you that know me and this Blog will also know that there is an annual tradition in this house. It’s THAT time again for the annual back to school photo!
If you’ve never done this, why not?! It’s a magnificent way of tracking the growth and development of your child, from cute, through goofy and into sullen. Or maybe you have a child at each of those stages (good luck with that, by the way)?
Whoever they are, however old they be, however much they protest – make it happen. It’s priceless entertainment in the years to follow. (FYI I used ‘PicMonkey.com’ to create this image collage).
Oh, and just to be fair, here’s my back to school photo from 1983. Sorry about that.
Share your back to school memories with us – either write a blog post and link it up (the Linky will stay open for some time yet, so no need to rush), or just share your memories with us in the comments if you prefer – you don’t have to have a Blog to play! Everyone welcome here. Consider it therapy. But do tell your friends!

I took the same sort of photo’s last year for the boys and plan to do it each year as a snapshot of them at a certain time in their live.
Great idea. It’s just amazing how they change before your eyes. My baby is nearly a man!
…and thanks for entering the Linky!
